DO YOU HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST?

What Should Christian Prayer Requests Look Like?

It is very important that you know what Christian prayer requests are. Nothing serves its purpose in our lives when we don’t know what they are. Think about that for a moment.

According to Merriam Webster’s dictionary, prayer is “an address (such as a petition) to God or a God in word or though

Prayer is the acknowledgement of God. It is also the acknowledgement of a need in your life and a faith in the will and ability of God to meet that need, whatever it may be.

The Bible tells us to resort to prayer for everything we need. Prayer is that important. We are told to ask, to seek, and to knock. We are promised that when we pray, God will show up and help us.

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.

James 5:13

Anybody can pray but only a believer’s prayer will be accepted before God and answered. Let me share with you two scriptures that verify this statement. First one:

If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.

Proverbs 28:9

Second one:

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Hebrews 11:6

We all can come, but we must come as surrendered to Him, believing He can do for us what we need Him to do.

What then are Christian prayer requests?

These are prayers shared by Christians with other Christians. There are many ways this can be done. It may be through a prayer group in a local setting, or through a prayer line where prayers are submitted and then prayed upon by a pastor or a prayer team.

And how do we pray upon every prayer request? We pray “in the name of Jesus.” The name of Jesus grants authority and validation to our prayers.

Jesus has told us that when we pray in His name, God will answer us.

On that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

John 6:23-24

It is time to pray

Dear child of God, Christian prayer requests are prayers God cannot refuse. Why, because they are the cry of His children. We encourage you to pray no matter what you’re facing, and to share that prayer with other saints who will join their faith for a miracle.

Jesus Christ taught us the power of praying together as believers when He said i

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 18:19

For the conversion of Muhammad, Mrs. Abida and their entire family. May God free them from the chains of tradition, pride, hypocrisy and lies. That Jesus Christ reveals Himself to them, shows them the Truth and the Truth sets them free. That God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit transforms their hearts and their lives and, if possible, the restauration of my relationship with them. For the conversion of Amir, Yubaraj, Vedant, Summaya, Stefania, Nicolle, Tiago, André and their families. For the conversion of Sandeep’s family and intensification of his faith. For Miriam and her family, so that they accept Christ and allow themselves to be transformed by the Holy Spirit. For the conversion of all who, through the chains of lies, presumption, pride, self-indulgence and lies, reject Christ. For the physical and spiritual healing of Ruth’s mother, Janaína, my godmother, my aunt Lurdes, Marco, João and all those in need. For the people of Holy Land finally let their hearts be changed by God Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For the end of arranged marriages around the world, for marriage to stop being a perpetual business, where Love is rejected from the beginning. For India to become a Christian nation. Thanks!
