SAT-7, a global Christian media network, plans to broadcast the series in Arabic, Farsi, and Turkish.
This initiative marks a significant effort by SAT-7 to disseminate the gospel across MENA.
George Makeen, SAT-7’s Ministry Content Advisor, expressed enthusiasm about the series’ potential impact. “The Chosen offers viewers a vivid portrayal of the Gospel set against the backdrop of ancient Middle Eastern culture,” he noted.
Launched initially with a modestly funded pilot in 2017, “The Chosen” quickly gained momentum.
The series’ unique crowdfunding approach raised over $10 million, making it one of the most successful campaigns of its kind.
After three seasons, “The Chosen” has caught the eye of major platforms like Amazon and Netflix and is available in 26 languages, extending its global footprint.
