Lord,
I do not begin today with my own strength, but with a plea for Your Spirit.
It is true, Lord, what You have foretold is coming to pass. You say that You will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land; that You will shake all nations.
And I see it, I feel it. In this great shaking, it is easy to feel small, insignificant, and afraid.
Yet amid this chaos, amid all that seeks to throw me off balance, I hear Your quiet yet persistent voice. Your promise, which echoes through the centuries, is meant for me this very morning.
“My Spirit remains in your midst; fear not.” (Haggai 2:5)
This is my anchor, Lord. Not a promise that the shaking will cease, but the assurance that Your Spirit is with me in the midst of it all. Thank You for this certainty, which surpasses all my understanding.
My first response to chaos is always to try to fix things myself. To gather all my might, all my strength, to calm the storms within and around me. But today, I want to remember that You call me to a different path. Therefore, today I resolve that I no longer try alone.
“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6)
What liberation there is in these words! The success of this day, my peace, my stability—they do not depend on my own power, but on Your Spirit working within me. I surrender my weakness to You, that You may fill it with Your strength.
Jesus, thank You for knowing we would need this help. You did not leave us as orphans in this frightening world. You promised us a gift that remains.
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, to be with you forever: the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:16-17)
Holy Spirit, Comforter, Spirit of truth, You are welcome in this day. Please, speak truth to my heart when the lies of fear and anxiety try to overcome me. Help me to recognize You, for You dwell within me.
Lord, sometimes I am simply weary. My body is tired, my soul is exhausted. The shaking of the world drains me. But Your word gives me an incredible promise, stronger than any fatigue.
“And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)
This is my prayer today, Lord. May this same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead give life to my mortal, weary body today. May it revive my soul.
Help me to make this day a continual return to You amidst the noise, that in every moment I may be aware of Your quiet yet mighty presence. Because Your Spirit is with me, I need not be afraid.
Amen.

Amen. Today I feel let down as I did not get the promotion I worked for. I believe that unanswered prayers can be a gift in disguise ,if this is the case so shall it be.
AMEN!!!
