Good morning, my God and Creator,
as I open my eyes to this new day, I desire not only to seek You in the quiet of my room, but to see, hear, and feel You everywhere around me.
I wish with all my being to join the mighty hymn of praise that all Your creation continually sings to You.
When I look through the window, I see how the morning light touches the sky, painting it with the hues of Your glory. This is not merely a physical phenomenon; it is Your work of art, proclaiming Your majesty anew each morning.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the firmament proclaims the work of His hands.” (Ps 19:1)
You are the Creator of all. You are the One who called all things into being and breathed life into everything. Before this truth, I can only stand in reverent awe and thank You for creating me as a part of this magnificent symphony of creation.
“You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.” (Neh 9:6)
Today, I wish to listen to the song sung by the mountains and hills. I no longer see them as mere masses of rock, but as mighty singers in Your choir, who in their steadfastness and grandeur cry out in glory to You.
I want to see how the trees of the forest clap their hands for You, how every leaf turns toward the sun, which is a reflection of Your light.
“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” (Isa 55:12)
I join in the praise of the springs, which with their quiet babbling tell of Your freshness and the life You give.
I listen to the mighty rush of the rivers and the roar of the sea, which testify to Your boundless power and depth. Every drop of water sings to You, the source of living water.
All the creatures of the sea, from the smallest to the greatest, and all the birds that sketch across the sky with their flight, are part of this magnificent orchestra. Their movement, their sounds, their simple existence is a ceaseless prayer to You, who so wonderfully conceived them.
And in the midst of this symphony of creation, I stand, Your child. My heart longs to join this eternal hymn of praise, becoming truly Your house of prayer. I desire to be a voice that consciously joins every creature in heaven, on earth, and in the sea, in the collective worship of You who sit on the throne.
“And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!’” (Rev 5:13)
This is the song of Your eternal kingdom, a song that never falls silent. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this and to believe in the Kingdom that remains forever. May my every breath, my every step, and my every thought today be a part of this hymn of praise to You, the Creator of all.
Amen.
