Dearest Father,
It is incredible how you faithfully watch over and care for me daily.
I worship you, Lord, because you alone deserve all my praise.
In Psalms 139:1-3; 13-15, there is a beautiful reminder you put down through the mouth of your servant, King David. It says:
Lord, you have probed me, you know me: you know when I sit and stand; you understand my thoughts from afar.
You sift through my travels and my rest; with all my ways you are familiar.
You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works!

My very self you know. My bones are not hidden from you, When I was being made in secret, fashioned in the depths of the earth.
Father, from your word, I have seen that I am wonderfully made to bring you praise as long as I live.
You know my strength and weakness. You chose to use me for your work on earth. I don’t want a life outside this beautiful intention of yours for me.
Many others may choose to live however they want, but I prefer to live the way you want.
In the book of Luke 11:28, I also read:
He replied, “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”
I know that there are many distractions, but Lord, help me to discover what your word says about me, to observe it, and build my life on it.
Father, I do not only pray for myself. I also pray for other believers all over the world.
We can get so carried away with the different engagements in the world that we forget who we are and what you created us to be on earth.
This reminds me of what you told Martha in Luke 10:40-42
Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me.”
The Lord said to her in reply, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.”
Lord Jesus, open my eyes to realize what truly matters in this life and commit to it.
Do not let me waste myself chasing after things that are contrary to your big picture for me.
I pray for my brothers and sisters around the world that they also realize what truly matters in this life and start walking in it too.
I know I am unique and have a special role to play in your universal plan.
Thank you for making me unique.
Thank you for making me an agent of your glory on earth.
Thank you for the grace to bring you praise, Father.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
