Morning Prayer for Today – Strength In Trouble

Dearest Father, 

I am reading your word in Psalms 59:16:

But as for me, I will sing of Your strength; yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,

For You have been my refuge and a place of refuge on the day of my distress.

Lord, I confess my struggles and weariness before you. You are all I need right now and every day.

The seasons of troubles and opposition seem to have no end, and it weighs my soul down. But, with you, I have hope of victory.

I am contemplating the words of David in Psalms 119:28:

My soul weeps because of grief; strengthen me according to Your word.

Lord, though the troubles come and go, you are constantly by my side to surely give me victory.

You are my hiding place and refuge in times of distress. Lord, I turn to you for strength and peace to overcome these pressures.

Reassure me of your constant presence, and help me rest in your promises. 

Thank you, dear Lord, for new strength and grace today.
