Almighty Father,
Thank you for being a loving Father to me. You are consistent, leading me as my Father and teaching me to be a better parent to my children.
I am grateful for the gift of the children you have blessed me with and for the ones that will come.
I am reading Psalms 127:3-5:
Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

Lord, thank you for trusting me with these children and making them unique. I love them, and I know you do too.
Being a parent takes its toll on me sometimes, and I struggle.
I have to be a great parent, lovingly guiding and supporting them, meeting their needs, and being strong even on my worst days.
So, Father, I commit them into your hands, from the oldest to the youngest. I surrender myself to you. Please help me raise them well.
Please, Father, you are my own Father, as well as theirs too. Don’t let me fail as a parent.
Please give me the strength to raise godly children in an ungodly world.
Lord, give me the wisdom to encourage and inspire the best in them.
Let me know how to come down to their level, understand and connect with them.
And let them be a blessing to their generation.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
