Morning Prayer for Today – I Pray For The Day Ahead

Heavenly Father,

This is the day You have made for me; I will rejoice and be glad for it.

Lord, I pray and commit my day to your hands.

Your word says in Isaiah 45:2:

I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.

Lord, some days I feel motivated, things go smoothly, and I have a good grip on everything happening in my life.

But on some other days, everything may seem out of proportion, and I feel lost in the whole mix.

Yet, in all these, I can count on your promise to be with me and go ahead of me to make everything smooth.

Lord, I know I can’t handle myself or my day without you. So I humble myself to ask for your help today.

You are my safe space and my strength. You are always near to help in times of trouble. Please, Lord, help me never let go of your hand, no matter what I face.

Please, protect me from harm and evil. Go ahead of me and turn those things yet to happen in my favour.

Please help me to seek your presence amid my circumstances and draw strength from you. Lord, make me a living testimony of your greatness today.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
