Thank you for all you have done in the past.
I thank you for everything you are already doing in the future.
Lord, I pray for the grace to see your good plans in the present and stay thankful, even when I do not understand them.
Your word says in 1Thessalonians 5:18:
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
Lord, it can often be challenging to keep believing or even be thankful when I don’t understand what’s happening in my life.
Still, you keep loving and taking care of me. And for this, I am thankful.
Please, Father, fill my mind with thoughts of your faithfulness, and let me develop thankfulness in all situations.
Let me see more and more reasons to thank you for my life, family, spouse, and community.
Let my confidence in you grow so I can boast in unfavorable circumstances that I have a God who never fails.
I am reading from your word in Acts 16:25-26:
Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken;
And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains were unfastened.
Lord, as I continue to thank you through the storms, your power is turning things around for me.
You are my Father and God. Lord, let me never stop praising you.
