Mother from Sudan who is a Christian Refugee Assaulted for her Religious Beliefs

A mother in South Sudan, who lost two babies to illness and faced persecution for her Christian faith, is among the 8 million people who have fled military conflict in Sudan.

Fatima Adam, 41, was physically attacked by her Muslim husband for embracing Christianity and attending worship services at a refugee camp in South Sudan. She suffered injuries and pain following the attack.

Adam, who had accepted Christ after arriving at the camp, faced threats and violence from her husband for her new faith. The lack of adequate resources in the camp led to the loss of her two children due to medical neglect, adding to her struggles as a refugee.

Amidst the ongoing conflict in Sudan, Adam’s story highlights the challenges faced by persecuted Christians in the region.
